Anglers in Action Tournament Trail
Table Rock Lake - September 15, 2019

The 2019 Table Rock Lake division has now come to a close. 74 teams took part in the final event on Sunday, meeting up at the Port of Kimberling Resort for a 7am blast off time. A cool early morning turned into a brutally hot afternoon, with temperatures nearing 100 degrees by weigh-in time.

The team of Aaron Stanphill and Scott Bailey won the 2019 AFTCO Table Rock Lake Division points race. Scott & Aaron will receive $500 for their division win, courtesy of AFTCO. Congratulations on a great season gentlemen.

The SUNLINE HEAVIEST BAG of the division went to the team of Dustin and Eric Blevins. They weighed in 23.28 lbs. in the March tournament at Table Rock to take the honors.

Eric Olliverson and Mike Gold took the win Sunday at Table Rock, with 5 fish that locked in on 16.44 lbs. Mike and Eric reported a slow bite throughout the morning, then hit a stretch of water in the afternoon that produced the majority of their fish. They targeted brush piles with big worms and jigs to accumulate their winning bag of 16.44 lbs. Eric and Mike won a total of $2,680 in AiA winnings, $5,000 in TAG Incentive money, plus $3,000 in additional incentive cash, totaling nearly $11,000 in winnings. Not a bad day on the water. Congratulations guys.

The father and son team of Roger and Corey Cook took 2nd place Sunday with a total weight of 16.42 lbs. They also had 3rd Big Bass of the event, for total winnings of $2,170.

No strangers to the check line at Table Rock Lake, Scott Boaz & Steve Rider grabbed 3rd place overall and took 1st Big Bass of the event. Steve and Scott took home a total of $2,030.

UPDATE - ANGLERS IN ACTION: GRAND LAKE - JUNE 22

UPDATE  -  AiA at Grand June 22 will be rescheduled

Anglers in Action tournament at Grand Lake: June 22

The Anglers in Action tournament at Grand Lake will be rescheduled due to high water. New date coming soon.

The 2nd annual Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash is now in the books, and what a great event it was. Over 500 anglers participated in the 2019 event, competing for cash prizes totaling over $107,000. We want to thank all of the anglers for your tremendous support for this event, as well as Florence Tourism for all of their support. The hospitality we received from the local community was greatly appreciated.

The summertime pattern was definitely in effect, with the majority of the money fish coming from anglers targeting the ledges on Pickwick Lake. Bobby Scharber, of Pulaski, TN, was one of those fisherman targeting ledges throughout the weekend. Bobby finessed his way to the top prize, using a drop shot rig on 10 lb. line to haul in his 8.26 lb. winning fish. Bobby weighed in his fish at the Waterloo Riverside weigh-in station during the 8am-10am time slot on Sunday. That bass held up the remainder of the day, earning Bobby the win and the top prize of $30,000 in cash. Congratulations again to Bobby Scharber, your 2019 Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash champion.

Don't forget, the 2020 Pickwick / Wilson Lake Big Bass Bash will be held on March 21-22.
