The 2021 AiA Lake of the Ozarks division is finally underway, after the cancellation of the February 28th tournament due to a frozen lake (the Feb. 28th tournament has been re-scheduled to Sep. 19th) There were 125 teams that blasted off from PB2 on Sunday, ready to chase those green fish around on a lake where the fishing & better yet, catching, is finally starting to improve. According to angler reports, the a-rig, spinnerbait, jerkbait, and jigs played a role in most catches today.

No strangers to the winners circle, Jimmy Davis & Jackie Davis rounded up a solid bag of Lake of the Ozarks bass. Jackie and Jimmy slammed 21.62 lbs. on the AiA scales Sunday, including a 5.76 lb. bigmouth, that earned them the WIN and a 3rd place finish in Big Bass.
The reported heading up the lake after blastoff, targeting areas past the Hurricane Deck bridge. Jimmy & Jackie caught all of their fish on jerkbaits and jigs. Congratulations gentlemen!!

We want to thank all of the anglers and sponsors for their continued support, and appreciate you all fishing the 2021 Lake of the Ozarks division opener with AiA. The next AiA tournament at Lake of the Ozarks will be held on April 3rd, out of PB2 starting at 6:30am.

We also want to send our deepest condolences and prayers out to the Jelinek family, who suffered a tragic loss on Sunday. Please keep them in your prayers as this family goes through these tough times ahead. We are all thinking and praying for you and your family.
